Cards, Comments and Craziness

Yes, today was all about cards, comments and craziness. I will get to all of that as it comes. (I don't want to write an opening paragraph). And I apologise for the lateness; I'll explain that when I get to tonight.

Jo drove me to school, and when the bell went, I went to Science. We had another new teacher (where do they find these people), and I spent almost the entire period working. On a Friday! Next was computer Maths, where I got to bludge, sort of. I mean, it was work, but not stressful work. Play dressed up like work. Recess was 13, in which we did crazy things like flipping the entire deck so everybody could see the cards dealt (a bit like an uber-flip rule.). Assembly was cancelled, so we played for something like an hour. I didn't do that well. By the end, though, we had an audience of Corinne, Cameron, Ian, you name it. Next was Ag, which was more preg testing. Believe me, I would have done it, if I had had the stomach. But I don't, so I didn't. I can't say I regret not doing it, but it would have been an experience to do it. So the entire 2 periods (for it was a double) I spent doing work, listening to some of Pink Floyd (and wondering how long it takes for 'Shine On, You Crazy Diamond' to get to the vocals. About 7 and a half minutes, if you're wondering.), and playing 13 (yes, more 13) with Tan, Allan, Oishi and Nancy, with Hewie watching. Which was pretty good, though not as good as with the people from the group. Next was Lunch. I ran up to the English Cottage as soon as so I could get my Drama marks, but it's closed at first half. So at the table we played '8,' for some reason, which is the rules of 13 with 6 players (Andy, John, Victor, Kevin, Eric and me), so 8 cards a person. We also played some '2,' basically the same thing but with 2 cards, and even '1,' which went as you would have expected. Then in second half we actually played some 13. It was insane and awesome (note I didn't say 'but awesome.' Subtle difference.). I also went up to the English cottage again, but Kolodziej was in a meeting. Which seemed a bit suss. But, when the bell went, so did I, to the English cottage, to corner Kolodziej so he could give me my marks. Lana and Rachel were there too. I ended up getting 18/20, which is pretty good, if I do say so myself (and I do!). A load off from all the panic and stress. If I had only cut the performance down by about a minute (it was a minute under when I timed it). Anyway. In English we did essentially nothing except talk, and I read of course. Lastly for the week was History, which was answering questions, as usual. And when I got home, I commented on Victor's blog (numerous times), surfed the net, watched TV and went on Scratch. Right now I'm listening to Queen (as usual) and blogging, and going on MSN. As well as trying to solve a puzzle. I completed it, then EJ messed it up. Bugger. I got all distracted, that's why I'm posting late.

Now the comments, and there were only 3 yesterday (and that's with Victor getting 10 in 1 post. Although, I have 3 individual commenters. He comments on his own blog.). So I'll go into more detail with them, if I can.
*AC: First, that's amazing. You beat Victor (lol)! With that girl thing, I think I'm getting better at it. Slightly. I hope. But, slowly and surely. I do have good teachers, and Kearney isn't that bad, but he still annoys me with this constitution crap and the standing up. And with Toby, Javery and Matt Prior in one class, it is hard to control, for anyone. And to that Queen thing: I had an off day. My bad (lol). And please comment on every post. You are that awesome.
*Victor: Yes, you are second. Now you know how it feels! And don't give yourself a -1. -1s are for me and me only! On your blog, -1s are all I get, so dammit, I best collect them. My -1s!
*Ebony: Yes, panic and stress breed off worry over assessments. And you'll do great, yours was awesome. Victor commenting on his own blog is, I agree, cheating, and should be stopped. But, that's his prerogative (I learnt that word from Britney Spears, who used to be my favourite musician/s. But Queen has taken that title now.). And it's all true for that Science teacher, he was freaky. And thanks for the good luck, I'll need it.

Well, such was my Friday. The weekend beckons, and I need a few days to sit down. Oh wait, I can't because of my assessment. And homework. And possibly short story. Maybe the holidays. Hopefully I don't get much. Hopefully.

I want to relax for a day (but my hopes aren't high),
AB

  1. Woot! Now that I have my spot.

I think I lost a few more times than you at 13, just your losses were more embarrassing.

Commenting on my own blog is not cheating.
