Exercise and More Exercise

Today involved a lot, I mean a lot, of exercise. Read through and you'll get the general picture. And, Happy Birthday EJ! He is 11. Also, I know it is a late post. Blame hapkido. Even awesomeness has its downsides.

I slept in 45 minutes today, after the exhausting night I had last night. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on which way you put it), I got to school on time, but I only got to blog something like 2 paragraphs before it was time to go to school. Oy vey. When I actually got to school, not many people were there, and several people went to an IPT excursion. The people who were left at the table: me, Kevin, Andy, Ian, Shafi. Role Call was just reading. Periods 1 and 2 were PE, which was more cricket. We were playing indoor cricket instead though, and as we couldn't lose the balls, and they were tennis balls, we could smash them basically as hard as we wanted to. And smash them I did. Heaps of our people. In one memorable event, Alan hit a ball of Hewie, which went straight into a Lachlan Macquarie plaque (Macquarie is always getting smashed), then bounced straight into Allie's head. Wilson also warned us about hitting the clocks; but he said we'd need good timing to do that (Timing? Clocks? LOL!). I loved smashing it. Towards the end, we played 2 games of indoor cricket, of which our team won both. Go the Blues! (We were the blue team.)

Recess was 13, with everybody here. So, 5. We managed it though. Period 3 was Commerce, which was doing work on our in-class assignment. I do not want to be stuck doing it all like the last Commerce in-class assignment (bloody Matt and Javery). But, yeah, I actually got some work done. Lunch was 13, even when Shafi and Ian left, and we were stuck with 3 people. So we added an imaginary guy called 'Larry' for some reason, and we could take any hand we wanted. That was fun.

Then it was School Sport, in which we went back into the hall after a while with everyone procrastinating. We played dodgeball, so it was a good thing that Ebony was at the IPT excursion. I did pretty well, except for when I accidentally took out Alex Tieu. Long story short, he was sitting down, I threw a ball, people got out of the way, the ball hit him. In the braces. Not my fault; sitting down in a game of dodgeball is a very, very bad idea. Anyway. First we played against the Year 9s, with Year 7s split between us. We won all of the games we played against them. Then we played the Year 7s. We won most of the games, but not all. They outnumbered us, man! I was picked up by my Dad around 2:30, and then we went to Wattle Grove Shops. We got home around 3:30.

I finished my blog around 4;15, after much procrastination and other such things. I then spent a while on MSN, before going to EJ's birthday dinner. Which, in classic EJ style, was Red Rooster. I had way too much for dinner, I'll say that. Because, at 7, I left for hapkido. Shay didn't come, as she was sick. We had Grandmaster Geoff and Tina for teachers, and together they work pretty well. I got 2 signatures today, which puts me up to enough signatures for a tip! For those that don't know what that is, each 7 signatures, you get a tip. I'm not entirely sure why, but why not? I now have 8 signatures, and in exactly two weeks I am eligible for an orange belt (3 months, 20 classes. I've got two weeks before I've done 3 months, and I've done 18 classes.). Hopefully I'll get it soon. After hapkido, I got home, and did a bit of my blog, while eating some cake of course (mmm, chocolate cake...), and listening to Queen on my iPod. Hooray for Queen!. But I didn't get to finish my post, so here I am.

Well, that was my day. The next few posts shouldn't be too late. Or, alternatively, not very late. At least not too late. Oh, whatever.

Happy Birthday EJ,
AB
