Thank God For Fridays

Not Thank God It's Friday, but Thank God For Fridays. Also I couldn't think of a better title. And I better post quickly, it's almost time for my next post. Weekend procrastination, people. That and projects. That and AFL. That and Conway's Game of Life. And so on and so forth.

Period 1 (yeah, I'm getting there quickly) was Geography, which was, come to think of, doing bugger all. A complete and utter bludge. I love the periods of complete and utter bludginess. And no doubt spellcheck is going to 'BLUDGINESS ISN'T A WORD! NEITHER IS BLUDGE!' To which I say: shut up spell check. I feel like randomness today. Next was Science, which was just writing some stuff on waves. It ended on awesomeness though, with Robson showing how electricity creates radio waves; using an actual radio. We also had to stand back because it was producing X-rays as well. My nerdy sense is tingling! It's this type of thing that makes me want to be a physicist; the fact that this can do that or produce that or imply that, and showing exactly how it happens and how we can harness it... That is why I like Science. But, I'm way off topic.

Assembly was mostly talking about the Hurlstone farm (save it by doing the walkathon... even if it's in Lunch time) and the social (which I'm going to). That last one had the best promo video ever, and to top it off I found it on Youtube. Enjoy. Recess was the usual. Period 3 was Ag, which for some reason involved me thinking of rapper names for myself. The best I came up with were MC Squared and Cold Fusion. But on further investigation, MC Squared had been taken (goddamn it). So I am now Cold Fusion (yo, this is Cold Fusion, kickin' it old school), and not MC AB as John would like people to think. In short, I want to be this guy. Anyway. Next was PE, which was writing all about stress. What stresses me out most: lack of time. Damn that! I also almost fell out of my chair trying to see something on the board while Wilson was in the way. Rest assured everyone who saw it (Courtney, Ebony, the whole row behind me) laughed, and many (Corinne I know for sure) wished they'd seen it. Funny for others... and I suppose for me. I enjoy a good laugh.

Lunch was the usual, again. Period 5 was Maths, which started off doing no work and quickly degenerated into showing Mango Conway's Game of Life, which surprisingly he enjoyed. I actually did all the steps by hand, which is much, much slower than the computerised version. Still nerdy fun, mind you, but slower. Last was Drama, in which we got stuff done for our assignment. It involved a lot of arguments, but we actually got somewhere. I also turned out to be the robber, so my guess is that I'll have something like 4 lines. So I can't really stuff it up. Hopefully. My Drama journal still needs to get done though. I hate this journal. 4-5 pages is horrifying for 4 periods of work. Note to Kolodziej: Stop. This. Journal. NOW. When I got home, I did a bit of my assessment, played some DS, and ended up watching the Blues-Saints game. We almost won. Almost. But considering Fevola only got two goals, Judd went off with a broken nose in the fourth quarter, Thornton was out, and the Saints are on top of the ladder, I think we did really well to only lose by 9 points. Hell, we almost won. That's great in my book, considering the teams involved. But I didn't get to post, so here I am, posting very, very late.

Comments: one from one person. And I was lucky to get that. But it's better than none.
*Anon: Yes, surprisingly, I have finished. I finished around 4 on Saturday. So Sunday will be spent enjoying the free time. Then it's back to work with the Drama project. *sigh*

Well, that was my Friday. Sorry for the late post, things like footy and school got in the way. Explanations to come next post. Which may be another procrastinated post. I blame society.

Damn Drama!,
AB

  1. Lol, yes, well done for falling off your chair. And you NEEEEED to start work on that journal NOW dammit.

I still don't get the game of life thingimo. But I think asking you to explain it again is a death sentence.

LOL @ the paragraph about Science. It's scary, but I feel exactly the same way. <> Who said that?

Now tell me, why the hell do you want a rapper name? Like, seriously, what's the point??? Are you a rapper? No!

Anyways, get back to drama! And check your email! We have... issues.

    Ebony is cool.
