Say Cheese!

Yes, it was school photos today. I also felt like titling it that. Why not? (If you're wondering why, the answer is because it's my blog, dammit! I can blog on what or when I feel. Anyway. Moving on from my frustration at a hypothetical situation. Wait, what?) And I'm sorry it's a late post, things just seemed to keep getting in the way. I hate it when that happens, because you keep trying to get to something but... you get what I mean. I just have no idea how to finish that sentence.

Before school, I finished Monday's post, and before school at school, I'd like to think I entertained people with my new, lispy voice. I'd like to think that. My voice now sounds relatively normal. On another minus side, Victor can do a way better Acolyte voice than I can. So, crap. Period 1 was English, and we had Contado. We got 'Animal Farm' for a book, which is one of those freaky-coincidental things, because I finally read it after borrowing it from the library only a week ago. I told her I'd already read it not long ago, so I got to read my Bill Bryson book. Isn't it nice when things just work? (See this Honda ad for explanation. I love this ad.) When the bell went, I went to Maths, and there it was just some calculator work, as well as learning some stuff about logs, and being a smartass in class (because Faulds taught us new maths stuff specifically because I was away. Or so he says.). Recess was 13, as it usually is, though John seemed to be completely out of it. '13?' 'Yeah, what about it?' '13!' 'So?' 'Cards!' 'Oh...' The long weekend takes it out of everybody.

Period 3 was School Photos, and there were many memorable moments. When we started to line up, it became obvious that Eric had had a massive growth spurt. More than one person told him he was 'supposed to be' at the end of the line, including myself. I also grew, and when we filed up for a grade photo, I was in the top row. How awesome is that? However, this sense of almost-pride (because it's only really actual pride if you do something, rather than letting your body do something, if you know what I'm trying to get across here) was short-lived, as being in the top row sparked a slight unease (not exactly a fear of heights, but reminiscent of it), which would have been better if I were not at the edge. That in itself would have been better if there were a rail. Luckily, I didn't fall down. The group photos themselves passed without much incident, except for a word to say, the guy said to say 'communism.' Don't know why, don't want to know. The individual photos passed without much incident. Period 4 was Commerce, which was just a bit of bludging in the Computer Room. Ah, the joys of doing nothing.

Lunch was the usual. Period 5 and 6 were PE, and this session was a sport that I actually know how to play: cricket. I did pretty well for a while (and it was sorta fun watching Ebony's uncoordination. No offence.), and near the end we played a mixture of Diamond and Continuous Cricket (Ciamond? Dinuous?). When I got into bat, I just kept running, and it was tiring the hell out of me. When I finally got out, I realised I was having a panic attack throughout the whole thing. I swear, my body hates me. Anyway. At home, I did some of my assignment, talked on MSN; and realised my Pokemon Emerald game is gone. Seriously, I can't find it. Bugger. I'll keep looking though. And when I went to blog, things just kept getting in the way. So here I am on Wednesday morning, blogging.

To comments, one from one person. And Ebony actually commented. Hooray!
*Ebony: First four points in the first paragraph, I: partially agree, disagree, disagree, agree. And, yes, comment more. And I am only good at the first two, I suck at Singstar. Paragraph complaints? Really?

Well, that was my Tuesday. Ebony has begun to comment again, I'm back to 13, but I'm back to school and I've lost a game. Well, you win some, you lose some.

Back to school, again,
AB

  1. Once you start on a good thing...

I know what it's like to not know how to finish a sentence, so I just go "...yeah!" and everyone thinks I'm retarded (Y).

Memorable moment = Dog sniffing Huesie's crotch. My dog's a bit like that too :L

He said "communism" because Amy started it. Yes, you wish you were cool like Amy.

Oh sure, my uncoordination is fun to watch. I'm seriously scared dammit!

Yay for singstar! And yes, paragraph complaints. This is what I do.

I love that my return to commenting got mentioned in your closing pararaph. It's like, I'm in the headlines. =D
