So Much To Do

And today was the epitome of this week: not much work at school, but heaps outside of it. Wednesdays are the best day of the week, though, so it was a good day overall. Well, the day itself was good. The stress of assignments is getting to me though. It'll be finished by Friday, though, which will be a happy, happy day. Thank god for Fridays (OK, I'm getting really ahead of myself. It's only Wednesday!). A late post again, things got in the way.

Before school, I finished off Tuesday's post, as the Drama Journal... well, I covered this in the last post. First, it was Role Call, which was just doing some reading. The usual. Period 1 was Maths, which was a big bludge. Half the people were doing some 3 hour Maths comp (*shudders*), so we just did work on quadrilaterals. This is Year 7 work. When I finished that (i.e., after about 10 minutes), I got very bored, so I drew some of my random comic characters (such as Anime Man and Jesus the Zombie Crab. This will make no sense to anyone except me, I know.). Then it was Period 2, which was Drama. We handed in our Journals, and then we spent the period talking about the performance on Monday. It was another bludge of a period. Recess was spent playing 13, as per usual.

Period 3 was Commerce, which was doing some of the presentations for the in-class assignment. We have some difficulties with people being away and so forth, so we just had to talk about our topic. That was also a bit of a bludge. Lunch was 13, again. Then it was School Sport, which was some game with two gigantic tennis balls and four goals. Nobody really knew what was going on or how to play. I don't think the teachers quite understood either. It seemed a bit pointless. We played that for about 45 minutes, and then half the class (including yours truly) migrated to the stage, where we did absolutely nothing for the rest of the school day. How I love School Sport. When the bell went, Victor, Ebony and I went and talked. Then, when Victor left, Ebony and I talked, along with Mango who arrived from soccer. Around 2:50, we left for the train, and I got home around 3:30. And after a while, around 6:45, it was time for hapkido.

Today was a very good day in hapkido. I really, really need to work on my right leg back roll, I worked that out. But, I also got signatures, enough to put me on my second tip. Hooray! I also completed my required 20 lessons. So now, I have 7 days and 9 signatures to go before orange belt. Things are looking up. The lesson itself was pretty good, as I learnt what was wrong with my crosses. I also found that my hooks are good. Hapkido is fun. Back at home, I did some of my blog, but I wasn't quick enough. So I'm doing it now.

And as there are no comments, this is the final paragraph. There will probably be a late Thursday post. We'll have to see how quickly the assignment gets done. I didn't mean to leave it until the last minute.

Oh, the work!,
